Classic Gin Martini

For a perfect martini fill your martini glass with ice as you prepare your drink, then discard the ice before pouring.

Ingredients

3½ oz. Tanqueray dry gin
1 tsp. dry vermouth
Lemon twist or olive for garnish

Instructions

Pour gin and vermouth into mixing glass. Add ice and shake. Strain into your already chilled martini glass and garnish.

Ingredients

6 parts gin
2 parts dry vermouth
1/2 teaspoon Pernod
1 dash orange bitters

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with cracked ice and stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
